Professional Summary

I'm a machine learning researcher at UCF fine-tuning vision-language models for cardiac MRI analysis. I have Dual Bachelor's degrees in CS and Mathematics from FSU. I like building things that solve novel problems. I'm seeking an internship in ML, Data Science, SWE, or PM for Summer 2026.

Professional Experience

Research Assitant

AI MIND Lab at University of Central Florida

Dec 2025Present

I'm currently conducting research on vision-language models for automated cardiac cine-MRI analysis. Currently, cardiologists spend a nontrivial amount of time manually reviewing cardiac MRIs, and the motivation behind this work is to automate that process, enabling cardiologists to do more. I'm developing fine-tuning and transfer learning methods using the ACDC dataset, which contains cardiac cine-MRI data from 150 different patients across 5 different pathologies. The goal of this work is to enable clinical reasoning on multimodal medical imaging data, teaching models to interpret and explain what they see in these scans.

QA Engineer Intern

CSC

May 2023Aug 2023

During my summer internship at CSC, I worked on quality assurance for one of the company's fintech applications, CSC Connect. I authored over 35 test suites in Azure DevOps and identified 17 critical defects across our workflows before they reached production. I also engineered Cypress automation scripts for regression testing and collaborated on an international team to analyze defect patterns. This experience taught me how to think systematically about software quality and gave me hands-on experience building and testing software testing infrastructure in our CI/CD pipeline.

Leadership Experience

"Standards are not set by the best you've ever done. They're set by what you do every single day. A leader enforces standards because when you let one thing slide, you've just set a new standard." – Jocko Willink

Tech Lead

Google Developer Student Clubs
September 2023 - December 2023

As a Tech Lead for GDSC, I delivered workshops on QA fundamentals, technical interview preparation, and career development, mentoring over 40 students. I focused on software testing methodologies, software engineering principles, interview-common data structures and algorithms, and résumé mastery, all of which are skills that prepared students for a wide range of technical roles. It was rewarding to help students connect classroom concepts to practical, real-world engineering practices.

Union Board Policy Chairman

Florida State University Student Government Association
February 2022 - April 2023

As a member of the board that opened Florida State University's New Student Union, I redesigned a 100+ page policy manual, updating guidelines for newly introduced and reestablished spaces with the goal of creating a concise, yet comprehensive document that would support the 750 Registered Student Organizations (RSOs) using this new facility. This role taught me how to navigate complex stakeholder requirements and communicate policy clearly and concisely.

Vice President of Programming

Interfraternity Council at Florida State University
October 2021 - November 2022

In this inaugural role, I ensured that 1,610 Interfraternity Council (IFC) members completed leadership training on holistic recruitment practices by tracking progress in Sales, enforcing deadlines, and managing logistics with facilitators and chapter presidents. I also co-created a $5,000 scholarship that enabled 10 members facing financial hardship to retain their membership so they could positively impact the community. Additionally, I collaborated with my team to reestablish the IFC Charity Golf Invitational after a 5-year hiatus. I built a website to track sign-ups and market the event, and we raised over $10,000 for local and nationwide charities. The tournament has continued as an annual event.

Executive Board Member

Southeast Greek Leadership Association
July 2021 - March 2022

I contributed to the SGLA Annual Conference, which prepared over 800 Greek leaders from across the southeast for their upcoming terms. My responsibilities included managing outreach to more than 200 universities and collecting student feedback to guide speaker selection. I also spearheaded the conference awards process as part of a two-person team, overseeing logistics, coordinating with 12 expert judges, and deploying an Excel-based scoring system to ensure proper evaluation.

Peer Leader

Florida State University
January 2021 - April 2021

As a Peer Leader, I mentored 19 potential student leaders on a team of 3, focusing on peer leadership skills, and then guiding participants to pursue campus leadership roles, and by the end of the course, 100% of participants assumed leadership roles. I also collaborated with campus partners to showcase a variety of leadership opportunities and help students understand the breadth of ways they could contribute, regardless of title.

Scholarship Chairman

Phi Sigma Chapter of Phi Gamma Delta
December 2020 - April 2021

I launched a scholarship program for 13 New Members that elevated their GPA from 2.999 to 3.365 during the New Member Process through personalized academic coaching, which emphasized goal-setting. I also delivered résumé workshops and LinkedIn development sessions. The program was eventually expanded to and shared with every IFC chapter, empowering all chapters to ensure academic success for their New Members and build a culture of scholastic excellence.

As a leader, I learned the importance of developing standards with those you lead and holding them to those standards to ensure collective success.

Rush Mentor

Interfraternity Council at Florida State University
July 2020 - September 2021

Over four IFC rush cycles, I guided over 100 Potential New Members (PNMs) through the fraternity rush process, demystifying and providing tailored strategies to help them excel during rush and contribute meaningfully as members of the Greek community.
